A TRULY AMAZING ANTI-AGING, ANTIOXIDANT
RESVERATROL SUPER FRUIT COMPLEX

Take a moment and picture yourself fighting the ravages of age, remaining youthful in appearance and vigorous in form. You have a healthier, stronger body, more immunity. Medical science now believes that all this is directly related to antioxidants in our diet.

First, let's talk free radicals. Free radicals are atoms or molecules in your body with an unpaired electron. These unstable molecules collide with other molecules in an attempt to 'steal' an electron, starting a chain reaction and damaging your DNA and cells and leading to the aging process. Free radicals are a by-product of our everyday bodily functions (anything that involves oxygen, such as digesting and breathing.) Normally, our body produces natural antioxidant enzymes to help fight off these free radicals. However, the aging process, our toxic environmental, poor diet, and stressful life-style, all contribute more toxins (free radicals) than our bodies can naturally fight off. Emerging science strongly suggests high level of free radical damage may be linked to many health problems.

Antioxidants are free radical scavengers. Antioxidants work by donating an electron and binding with the free radicals before they can do their damage. These crucial antioxidants protect our body from damaging oxidative stress. The secret to restoring youth and vitality lies right here. Science has been recognzing the most important sources of antioxidants in recent times and the list has been changing. And at the top of that list is the remarkable Resveratrol.

After considerable research and testing, we combined the highest purity of resveratrol (the wonder compound found in red wine) with the massive antioxidant power of all the most significant of super-fruits like acai, pomegranate, aronia, maqui, camu camu, borojo, and cupuacu. Then we added aloe vera, yerba mate and a specific blend of natural-source antioxidant vitamins and minerals, to create a truly singular health-boosting, youth-restoring, massive ORAC value supplement we call RESVERA YOUTH.

RESVERAYOUTH

HOW DOES THE COMPLEX WORK?

It would be very difficult to obtain all these fruits and add them to a regular diet. So we bring these important engines of good health to you. Detailed here are the plants/fruits used in the formula and why they are so beneficial.

Resveratrol:

It is impossible to watch TV or read a newspaper without hearing about the remarkable benefits of the major antioxidant resveratrol. Touted by people like Oprah and Dr Oz, and seen all over the news, resveratrol (a phytoalexin produced naturally by several plants when under attack by pathogens such as bacteria or fungi) has potential positive benficial effects on cellular health, and thus on aging. These characteristics may help prevent free radical damage (oxidative stress) to our body and provide protective support to the blood vessels caused particularly by elevated levels of blood glucose, as well as oxidative fat. Research has uncovered a diverse range of activities that may make resveratrol one of the most useful agents ever discovered for a wide range of human health problems.

What is Oxidative Stress?

As you breathe, oxygen is absorbed and your cells produce energy. This process produces highly reactive molecules known as free radicals. External factors such as pollution, sunlight, diet, alcohol use and smoking also trigger the production of free radicals. Moreover, the typical western diet, which is rich in red meat, preservatives, antibiotics, growth hormones and chemical food additives contributes to oxidative stress and the wearing down of the body’s defenses. Free radicals also interact with other molecules within cells. This can cause oxidative damage to proteins, membranes and genes.

Oxidative damage has been implicated as the principal cause of many diseases and has a destructive impact on the body's ability to control aging, repair DNA, and maintain a healthy immune system.

"In a widely publicized report, researchers at Harvard Medical School and BIOMOL Research Laboratories have demonstrated that resveratrol activates a “longevity gene” in yeast that extends life span by 70%. The effects mimic those of calorie restriction, the only proven way of extending maximum life span. Resveratrol activates one of the same “sirtuin (SIR)” genes as calorie restriction. Although the research has only been done in yeast, flies and worms so far, humans have their own version of the same life span-extending gene".

However, though resveratrol is a most highly-touted longevity compound, it alone will not address all the concerns of cellular health (there are various sources and types of free radical damage.) We need a multi-faceted approach to antioxidants.

RESVERAYOUTH combines the following innovative fruit extracts synergistically with the purest resveratrol to create a super health formula that utilizes the widest range of antioxidants so as to defend against all types of free radical damage.

The ORAC Test

There are six classes of free radicals that linked to ailments or illnesses like heart disease and cancer.  These classes of free radicals are referred to as Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS).  ORAC is the abbreviation of Oxygen Radical Absorption Capacity assay. It was developed in 1992 at the National Institutes of Aging, and measures the capabilities of antioxidants against free radicals by measuring how much a particular food / herb inhibits the activity of free radicals.  The higher the ORAC number, the more antioxidant benefits of the vegetables & fruit.

The test has now been adopted by USDA Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging.  ORAC antioxidant capacity measures are estimated by Ferric Reducing Power and are expressed as micromole Trolox Equivalent (TE) per 100 grams or 3.53 ounces.  Below are the values of top ORAC foods, fruits, and vegetables (per 100g):

  1. Maqui - ORAC 27,600
  2. Acai - ORAC 16,700
  3. Pomegranate - ORAC 10,500
  4. Blackberry - ORAC 7000
  5. Blueberry - ORAC 6,500

Acai Berry:

  • The Acai fruit is one of the most nutritious and powerful foods in the world.
-Dr. Perricone, MD, respected dermatologist featured on the Oprah show.

Harvested naturally from the depths of the Brazilian rainforest by people who have been using it for thousands of years, the acai berry has one of the highest ORAC values ever reported for a fruit or vegetable.  (Schauss et al.- Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry.)  Acai is considered close to natures perfect food.

Scientists have reported the remarkable health benefits of the acai berry, and it was recently featured on the OPRAH program as being "one of the most nutritious and powerful foods in the world" for age-defying beauty. It contains the most complete array of Vitamins such as B1 (Thiamin), B2 (Riboflavin), B3 (Niacin), Vitamin E, Vitamin C; Minerals such as phosphorus, calcium, potassium and iron; it also contains essential fatty acids such as Omega 6 and Omega 9 (linoleic and oleic acids) plus all the essentials amino acids. Acai has a protein profile similar to eggs, a monounsaturated fat and polyunsatuand nearly identical to olive oil, nearly 20 phytonutrients and a blood-sugar-friendly glycemic index.

Maqui Berry:

Another south american berry, Maqui has the highest ORAC score of any known fruit on earth. It also has the highest concentration of anthocyanins and polyphenols. This little deep purple berry from Chile (traditionally used by the Mapuche Indians for supporting stamina, increasing strength, and promoting healthy immune response) has set the health industry alight. It has taken first place on the superfruits list from acai with 4-10 times the ORAC value, and even been popularized by Rachel Ray.

Pomegranate:

This well known fruit has an abundance of antioxidants and phytochemicals as well anthocyanins, catechins and ellagic acid. Pomegranate raises the antioxidant capacity of the blood before free radicals have a chance to attack your cells and DNA.  In an article published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition in 2000, researchers detailed an experiment in which healthy adult men and unhealthy mice consumed pomegranate juice daily. After two weeks, the healthy men experienced increased antioxidant levels, which resulted in a ninety percent drop in LDL cholestoral oxidation. In the mice, "oxidation of LDL by peritoneal macrophages was reduced by up to 90% after pomegranate juice consumption..." (Aviram M, Dornfeld L, Rosenblat M et al (May 2000). "Pomegranate juice consumption reduces oxidative stress, atherogenic modifications to LDL, and platelet aggregation: studies in humans and in atherosclerotic apolipoprotein E-deficient mice". Am. J. Clin. Nutr. 71 (5): 1062–76. PMID 10799367.)

Camu Camu:

Camu Camu (Myrciaria dubia) is a bush which grows in the Amazonian rain forest of Peru. The camu camu bush produces a fruit with the same name which contains powerful phytochemicals with many health benefits, including the amino acids serine, valine, and leucine, and more Vitamin C than any other known plant in the world (30 times more than an orange.) The Camu Camu fruit has a surprising range of therapeutic effects. In his Clinicians Handbook of Natural Healing, (1998), leading nutritionist Gary Null lists Camu Camu as the number two most effective natural fruit for health promoting properties.

Aronia:

The chokeberries (Aronia) are species of deciduous shrubs in the family Rosaceae, native to eastern North America. Aronia melanocarpa (black chokeberry) has attracted scientific interest due to its deep purple, almost black pigmentation that arises from dense contents of phenolic phytochemicals, especially anthocyanins. Total anthocyanin content in chokeberries is 1480 mg per 100 g of fresh berries, and proanthocyanidin concentration is 664 mg per 100 g, among the highest measured in plants to date. Researchers have uncovered a wealth of evidence that suggest that consuming Aronia is very beneficial to the body.

Cupuacu:

The Cupuacu fruit grows on the Cupuacu tree, which is a small to medium tree in the Amazon rainforest canopy that belongs to the cocoa family and can reach up to 20 meters in height. The exciting discovery about the polyphenols in Cupuacu (theograndins) is that they are totally unique, and have never been seen before. Like Acai, Cupuacu is rich in vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, amino acids, and essential fatty acids, and is traditionally known for its nutritive, energizing, and tonic properties. It contains at least nine other antioxidants, including the powerful vitamins C and A. This makes the Cupuacu a powerhouse for antioxidant replenishment. It is also rich in Vitamins B1, B2, & B3 (Niacin), as well as essential fatty acids and amino acids.

Borojo:

Borojo, native to the Amazon, is a superfruit that is high in protein and an excellent source of vitamin B. Its high phosphorous content is great for maintaining strong teeth and bones. It is also higher in amino acids than three times its weight in red meat!

Yerba Mate:

Another popular south american herb, Yerba Mate is an antioxidant rich plant source, and has been revered as the “drink of the gods”, consumed to enhance, vitality, clarity, and well. There are 196 volatile (or active) chemical compounds found in the Yerba Mate plant, similar in action to green tea. According to Dr. Mowrey, Director of Mountainwest Institute of Herbal Sciences, one group of investigators from the Pasteur Institute and the Paris Scientific Society all concluded that Yerba Mate contains "practically all of the vitamins necessary to sustain life," remarking that it is "rare to find a plant with so much of this significant and vital nutrient.... It is indeed difficult to find a plant in any area of the world equal to Yerba Mate in nutritional value."

It contains vitamins: A, C, E, B1, B2, Niacin (B3), B5, B Complex, Calcium, Manganese, Iron, Selenium, Potassium, Magnesium, Phosphorus, fatty acids, Chlorophyll, flavonols, polyphenols, trace minerals, antioxidants, Pantothenic Acid and 15 amino acids.

Aloe Vera:

Aloe is an amazing plant that has been used throughout ancient times for medicinal purposes, and its relevancy has not diminished today. Aloe's usefulness continues to grow as scientists study its properties and possible applications.

Dr. Timothy E. Moore's research on Aloe and dental health at the International Aloe Science Council (IASC) describes gel from the plant as having the ability to heal, control the accumulation of fluids, and reduce pain. He has also found that in denture patients, aloe can reduce inflammation and discomfort caused by fungi and bacteria. In a study performed by the Department of Physiology at the University of Texas Health Science Center, lab rats lived a 10% greater life span by ingesting Aloe. The animals showed lowered occurrences of various diseases. Studies are ongoing into this beneficial plant, as we continue to discover its life-giving properties.

With specific vitamin and mineral cofactors, these superfruits, simply exploding with youth-restoring, life-improving health benefits, combine to create a 'fountain of youth' in a bottle. Experience an amazing formula that will rejuvenate you inside and out.
